Why Jameis Winston is STILL Saints best QB option

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd gladly take Winston, believe he's deserved the opportunity, unless something happens (us picking up another vet starter) via Free Agency, which I doubt. But I do believe he will have some options....

I believe he'll have options, too, but he's still in somewhat of a "prove it" situation, just like last season, coming off the injury. There's not a better place for him to "prove it" than in New Orleans with much of the same offense using the same terminology and with teammates with which he has already developed some rapport. The Saints have a huge edge on bringing him back versus other franchises.

Nothing new to add? You've been saying essentially the same thing, over and over and over. Don't you have a life?

I agree with Luke here. We've been pretty status quo with the coaching picture, so why not stick with the QB's, as well. I just can't see drafting another rookie when we haven't even had time to try to develop the one we drafted last year.

Of course you do. You are the very definition of group-think. Haven't had an opinion of your own in decades, if ever, is my guess...

DA opinion on Ian Book isn't well known. Who knows if he believes in Book that was maybe more Sean's doing.I have DA style of QB being TOTALLY different from Book IMO

Winston is "at home" in NOLA. I believe he wants to stay here.
