Saints need to seriously visit Plan B & the upcoming draft.

The circus is getting old.
What about Book? Are we going to get better where we pick in the draft? It's not like he got a fair shot in the Covid game. Let's develop him and use the picks elsewhere.

Book was never good and never should have been drafted where he was.

Simply not a fan of Book. Even in that Miami/covid fiasco, I saw no flash or athleticism to outrun pros & lacked decision making ability to know when to throw the ball away. 4th rounder and IMO his ceiling is back up role.

Plan B should be to re target > Winston on a 2/3 year deal.

Yea, I agree, K. Book is a project at best. I’d rather Minshew than Book. But we got to go plan B and get good offensive rookie weapons and we’ll be a dangerous team. I don’t understand the narrative that you got to have a elite qb to win the Super Bowl. Most of it is luck

All I remember from that game was him running for his life all day. It was a jail break on almost every play. I'm not saying be a starter today but if we're developing a young QB I think he still deserves chance.
Agreed with Winston if he's still willing to come back.

He’ll definitely compete but I see his ceiling as Chase Daniels.

Well if we don't get Watson (and I hope we don't), we've sure pissed off Ceedy Deuce and Winston with this BS. I sure hope Dennis Allen knows what he's doing. Because right now it sure seems like he's being a little careless.

I agree 100%. It has us looking really weak and desperate when we aren’t. That’s what I liked about SP. He didn't kiss a FA’s arse, either you want to play here or not

Given the questions still about Winston, and our other options it was a no brainer to go after Watson a known quality QB. (I was against this at first but I warmed to it) And honestly I think it's a stupid decision on Watson's not to come here. I have to say I'm not really scared of that Falcons team with him on it.
Yeah, DA gambled and there's some hard feelings but with Watson we could have solved the QB issue long term. To me it was worth the gamble I hate to lose Ceedy but he clearly has value so if he can't be brought back in the fold we should be able to get something good for him on a solo trade.
