Seems like Payton was just throwing **** at the wall to see if he could find a Brees 2.0 that would stick. He liked him some short Qb’s. About the only thing I took away from that one game is that he is tough. Takes a lot more than that though. Winston is our best shot this year but at some point in the near future we are going to have to make a play for a Qb in the draft.
