Not many QBs look good against Bama, especially with non-SEC type talent. Tom Brady didn't light up the football field in Michigan. You could in fact argue that Ian Book's numbers look better at Notre Dame than Tom Brady's numbers at Michigan.

LOL. I’m not a Book guy really. Nothing against him but I have my doubts. He maybe could play in the right system with the right players. I would
not hitch my wagon to him. My thoughts when I started the thread was more of a look at how people felt about him and the other QB draft picks that Payton made that did not pan out. Not a good track record but, but he didn’t need one with Drew at the helm. At least none of them were first or second rounders that busted. |
