He’s a serious run blocker. Mauler … oh and a high RAAS score 😀.

Dougie Marrone has something to work with.

It will be interesting to see where we go at pick #49.

Safety? Linebacker? Tight end perhaps?

For safety I think they go after Mathieu and pay him close to what he wants

Packers got to be going Watson or Pickens here surely

Got both the guys I wanted. My Pels lost, but the future looks bright on both fronts.

Lost all respect for him as that didn't end with a Kurt Angle belly to belly suplex

Aaron Rodgers is in shambles lol. They took a LB and a DT. No WR they could take in the 2nd will come in and make a big impact.

Cole Strange impressive move up; really, really wanted the Saints to move Ruiz and draft Strange - ehlah...

Nice first round. Two solid picks and surprisingly pretty much what everyone predicted. The move up to 11 looked necessary to get Olave, who I thought was the best WR left, he'll compliment MT well. I'd like to see Lewis Cine in round 2.

I was sitting in a bar in Manhattan watching the draft, the Jets and Giants fans were all pretty stoked about the choices they made tonight

It’s crazy how hard the draft media tried to shoehorn QB’s into the first round discussion in their mock drafts and whatnot. EVERYONE knew that none of these QB’s have first round talent and clearly the league felt the same (except for the Steelers.)

I would be pretty comfortable with most of those left(not keen on Ridder) in the second though. Its well worth a shot if you think they could compete in year 2

Yea, it was a joke. You don’t draft a number 2 wr and trade the number 1. Drugs are very bad

Curious if the Saints pull a reversal and move back in R2 if they don't like their options to pick up more picks...

Unless we sign Honey Badger, we have potential holes at FS, RG, RB3, and WRs...

If Penn State's Jaquan Brisker is there or if QB Matt Corral, Ole Miss falls to us - those are the most picks that make the most sense to pick at 49...

Was listening to Greg Cosell earlier this morning.

He had high praise for going up to get Olave & his ability to help this team now.

Chris would have been gone if we had sat on our hands until pick#16.

Day 2 ... I'm sure they'll go BPA.

I'd like to see a safety or RB selected on tonight.

Taking a QB today would be a waste. These guys suck so don’t bother. Give me someone like DT Travis Jones, S Jaquan Brisker or here’s a sneaky option that I know the Saints like: Alabama LB Christian Harris.

I still wouldn't mind a quarterback but if Harris is there, I'd take him. I don't think he's an All Pro type, but he should be a rock solid NFL'er.

I don't get the clamor for a QB. In my opinion none of the QB's in this year's draft have the talent of Winston, who is still young and can be our leader for most of the next decade. We already have a project in Ian Book who isn't that inferior to any of this year's crop. If there was ever a year NOT to take a QB in the draft this is it.

It isn't a coincidence that only one was selected to this point.

Round 2 is a good spot for Christian Watson. We'd be set at WR.

After watching Olave film, seeing his voluminous production, and learning of his 4.26 speed, he was, IMHO, by far the best WR in the draft. He so polished, he'll play right away. And we got him. Maybe a better player than LSU's Jefferson?

Let's sign Honey Badger too.

I think Corral would be a HUGE mistake, but we all have opinions. We won't know if he's Ryan Leif or Payton Manning for years.
