This portends to behoving a QB to realize his limitations and gracefully and uneventfully go down rather than attempt to fight through, somewhat like Aaron Rodgers does. We've seen over the years a number of players, and not just at the QB position, with an innate ability to feel tacklers and see them gracefully avoid them or go down sans injury. Maybe Jameis learned from this going forward.

I agree with you about players being able to “sense” these things.
It was definitely a horse collar tackle. That's why the league fined Devin White $15,450 after reviewing the play.
