It’s probably not going to be a popular opinion, but I have no problem with what Miami did. I seriously doubt they had to twist Tua’s arm to have him play. He likely was fighting as hard as he could to play.
He passed concussion protocols that the NFL and NFLPA set in place by mutual agreement. It was a rather freakish play that spun him down to the ground for a hard hit. I’ve seen no evidence or statement yet that the issues he had in the Sunday game and anything whatsoever to do with what happened Thursday night. This is a violent game played by the biggest, strongest, fastest athletes on the planet and Tua was an unfortunate, but very willing, participant. |
