Murray didn't want to stay with the Saints. He had the opportunity and tuned it down to go where he could become the RB1.

Unless he wanted to leave and the Saints simply honored his request, it doesn't make sense. Kamara and Ingram are constantly injured. Murray was a big reason the Saints were even in the game vs. the Vikings. The NFL is going to bust the Saints for tanking for a high........2nd rd pick. 😁

Re: Broncos sign Murray off the practice squad

The NFL practice squad logistics are messing with my head. I keep thinking it should be like MLB where there's no way for another team to claim a player unless he's put on waivers. I didn't realize there was this "limbo" state for players called up from practice squad to still be obtained.

Remember a few years ago that Murray came up for extension and the Saints wouldn't meet the figure he requested, so he was cut.

Murray evidently knows the business and used the last game as springboard, I can't really fault him. He was better than Ingram and was never really compensated accordingly.

We have neglected him on numerous occasions……good for him, hope he has a great season. Don’t blame him one bit. Our loss, it’s better we keep our perennial back ups and no names on the roster
