When the score goes from 16-3 to 17-16 with 3 seconds left on the clock, it is clear that a poorly coached team handed the thin razor to Tom Brady. We have reason to grieve.

Coaches don't tell reporters the same thing they tell their players. That is a fact and always has been. I spent several years the sports media arena and have seen the different messages sent to players and to the press. Quite often they are dramatically different. Grasping on to some 'coach speak' and taking it as gospel is naïve. |
