If he wasn't already under contract for 2023 I might agree, but he carries a $11.4 million cap hit if released or traded and has a base salary that can be restructured to free up over $9 million in 2023 cap alone. He's well respected, knows the system, and could be ideal as a bridge QB in case we get lucky and find something in the draft.
