OK Then... New Biggest Need
Soooo, right after I said DT is our biggest need, the team went and signed not one, but TWO juicy DT free agents.
Now what is our biggest need? I'm thinking tight end and safety. A great pick at number 29 in the draft would be Darnell Washington, TE from Georgia. What are your thoughts? |

Re: OK Then... New Biggest Need
In all honesty I think an overlooked need is a reliable kicker. If we had say…Koo from Atl, we would have been a 10 win team. We need a stable kicker.
Who is the best coming out of the draft ? |

I'd look for Peat's replacement in the draft. GUARD. I like Cyrus Torrence.
S & TE (BPA) in the draft. I wouldn't mind adding another veteran WR (slot). Give DCarr as many weapons (see Bills, Chiefs, Niners & Cowboys) as you possibly can. Edit - add DT depth. Roach, Street, and Huggins aren't set in stone. |

DL and OL, in that order. Then RB Spears in the third round. Doubt he lasts until the 4th.

How would you feel trading our first this year and a pick next year to move up for him, being we have several extra picks next year? We could always go FA next year too |

Re: OK Then... New Biggest Need
I'm glad we got a couple of big bodies in at DT but it's still our biggest need. Both seem like rotational players until proven otherwise. Interior OL is also a concern. That said, both areas can be addressed via the draft.

Re: OK Then... New Biggest Need
Id like to see us focus heavily on DL and OL this year and even next year. We need some young studs for now and the future on those lines

I agree we need DL help, but like last year we are hoping Thomas plays. I’m hoping, but doubtful. Another offensive weapon is what’s needed most IMHO.

Re: OK Then... New Biggest Need
I have no doubt that Thomas will play and play well, but I think the real question that most have is will he avoid yet another totally unrelated injury. Only the good Lord can answer that question.
