And that's why we moved up to get OL Saldiveri today.

Here's why, probably, Spears was not drafted by Saints.

Yeah. I heard yesterday that several teams had totally taken him off their boards because of that.

Sorry Thirty, but I don’t see how we are good at skill players. We had a game last year where we fielded Kirkwood, Trequan, and Callaway as our starting three WRs. Thomas still has to prove he can play and stay healthy. Olave has missed games with Concussion issues. Shaheed is still raw. Kamara is older and facing a suspension.

Could things work out? Sure they COULD. Thomas might’ve found the fountain of youth. Olave might avoid more head issues. Shaheed might continue to develop and Kamara might stay out of jail. But counting on it is risky. Upper teams like Philly and KC have more firepower in their lineup than we do. I hope we have enough but I have my doubts.

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

Geez, chill out, Boston. There's all of the UDFA and a ton of free agent vets out there. And what we have now is nowhere as dismal as you are imagining.

This is the third time the Saints had made a choice with the 71st overall pick. In 1981, they selected tight end Hoby Brenner, who recorded 267 catches for 3,849 yards and 21 touchdowns. He is a member of the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.

Just because I make an observation doesn’t mean I’m not “chill” Guido. It’s called an opinion. Was I incorrect when I pointed out we started Kirkwood, Smith, and Callaway in a game last year? I think a better choice could be made than a QB that may start for us in three years.

That, of course, is your opinion. My opinion is that the Saints have far greater insight into what they have, what they need, and where they can get what they need than any of us, absolutely including myself.

Yes. Like Ian Book. As anyone that knows NFL football knows, QB's are always a crap shoot, but it's something you have to take your best shot at anyway.
