That ship has sailed... The time to do it was before his incident in what is supposed to stay in Vegas, to get value. That being said, he's been used as a bell cow and it's turned out to be not his strong suit. Despite his declining skill set, and it's really been happening since his injury, his role out in the flat will be more productive than what he's shown us of late. He'll be around probably a couple of more years after which we'll be moving on. The points on the salary cap implications are valid should he be thrown under the jail, although we'll just see what else may unfold under the conduct clauses now in all contracts.

Re: Trade kamara
I really don’t want him gone. He’s a good player when used correctly and he’s a great receiving option

Re: Trade kamara
Exactly. He is arguably the best in the game when used correctly in the screen game which requires precise teamwork by the offensive line and a delicate and accurate touch by the QB's. We had none of those over the past two seasons due to injuries and such.

Re: Trade kamara
If we cut or traded Kamara we would eat $24 million in prorated bonus. People need to understand the costs of Mickeynomics. If a player like Kamara, Peat, or Thomas assaults Gayle Benson, curses the pope to her face, and gets arrested in a strip club for murder wearing a Falcons jersey, we cant cut or trade them, we can only offer them a restrcture that includes an extension, because the second they leave the roster the bill comes due for all the money Mickey borrowed from the future through restructurings. Kamara’s value is the same as Cook’s, but Minnesota dated Cook, we married Kamara and threw out the prenup. Till Mickey Loomis’s death do we part.

Re: Trade kamara
Unless we have every NFL Gm's office bugged, we really can't say who has called about FA's or trades can we? Just because it ain't on twitter doesn't mean that conversations aren't being floated. It's merely 'what if' speculation aty any rate.

Re: Trade kamara
Yup! Agree completely. Nothing more than "what if" speculation. "Why though" is another area of speculation to consider.

Re: Trade kamara
Kamara came in looking highly motivated. He was all business at practice this week. He was not his usual jovial self.
