I hear you brother but IMO this is a wasted trip. The league will do what the league does. I glanced over that NFL personal conduct policy and it's clear to me that even though AK did not face a conviction, they can and will impose a suspension.

AK needs to own it & face whatever action takes place.

That suspension is coming. It's just a matter of how many games he has to sit out in 2023. In an earlier post, I stated that I just hope the league suspends him SOONER rather than later in the season.

I suspect that AK hopes for some leniency by showing remorse for his actions. I realize that there is a retired judge who will hand down any suspension, but if the league doesn't want the max suspension then this is a win/win for everybody. Seriously though, my guess is that the league will wait as late as they can before imposing the suspension just to screw the Saints over.

I love that Thomas is wearing the TEAM me t-shirt. That's an old school t-shirt that emphasizes that the TEAM is bigger than me and that the TEAM always comes before me. The Texas Longhorns used to wear them in practice years ago. They've made a comeback apparently.
