Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
DA and PC need to be fired immediately! Carr needs to be benched and Haener needs to step in! Use Hill a lot more on Offense! We have way too many weapons not to score a lot of TD’s! We have 12 FG’s and 4 Offensive TD’s! I could coach better than that!!! The Aint’s are back guys and gals! We’re in for a long season! We were lucky to beat the Titans and Kittens!!!

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
Just watched this too, Two thing can be right same piss poor playcalling tendencies. As well as DC holding on to the ball or he missed Tony Jones JR, Taysom Hill, and Olave ir MT on third downs. Carr may not be the problem but I'll say again and again he's not the solution. DC DA PC will not elevate this team. The combination of the three. We do not attack the seams anymore we don't use TE but to block. PC at minimum has to go. At the minimum he has to go.

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
Not sure if any has seen the clip Underhill posted but it's some ridiculous play call in the redzone where Carr is under center with a "fake" reverse to AK ... resulting in a 3 yard loss.
Who are you trying to fool? If you are going to do that type of stuff, do it with Taysom Hill. Is Pete Carmichael trying to re injure DCarr with this nonsense? Edit *** here is the clip I was referring to. |

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
DA repeatedly saying he won't make any changes, this makes me want to stop watching.
He has so much talent on this team, by not admitting there's a problem and doing something, that talent will want out the door before it's too late. Alvin, surely, will not want to stick around whilst Pete C calls plays to Taysom or gets him hit 5 yards behind LOS in a double digit loss. We'll lose talent because of DA, not just games. |

Carr's surprising diagnosis and quick recovery were the worst luck these guys have ever had. Their excuse for an entire season melted away in a few days. Now they have what they built and they have to own it and take responsibility. Another significant injury is all they can hope and pray for. If Carr continues to struggle they will try to delay firing Carmichael until the season is over and then offer him as a sacrificial lamb but that might not cut it. People might start asking questions about the salary cap and why we can't move on from Carr and have to resign struggling aging injury prone players to avoid cap hits. Injury is this regime's greatest hope to buy themselves another year.
