I'll be honest, Blake had a poor camp. Shanked (but correctable with coaching) a few but still has a BOOMING leg. The new guy was equally bad in pre season.
IMO they gave up on Blake G way too soon ... just 2 seasons ago he was talked about as a Pro Bowl punter. He was punting that well. So far, Hedley (new guy) simply isn't flipping the field for us at all. |

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
Tough game to watch today.
Seemed like a few times the offense got a rhythm, and then Carmicheal would switch to a predictable set of downs with Taysom Hill. Several throws where Carr and receivers were on different pages. Defense held strong as long as they could. Overall it looked like there was no fire in this team |

Dennis Allen steady harping on the defense...
Man this is too much to try and unravel when all he does is bump his gums. They were scared to let Jameis make them look like an ass. Period |

Watching SNF (Jets/Chiefs) and Zach Wilson move the ball down the field and score but Carr can't.
Frustrating. 2.5 seconds the ball is GONE. |

This is a good segment. Starting around 5:15, Nick pretty much outlines what the problem is offensively. Pete Carmichael.

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs
How can a team with so much talent lose in such convincing fashion that they make a depleted division opponent look like world beaters? Play calling and failure to make adjustments? How many times do we have to see this?
This team should be 4-0. Instead, they are struggling to stay relevant! Fortunately, it's only game 4... but ONLY if they change things up. |
