Niners are levels above the Saints. They play like those old 80s/90s teams now with no weaknesses. Dallas is a solid squad that got destroyed.

Saints just pimped slapped a terrible Pats squad & now some think we can hang with the Chiefs, Niners or Philly?

Slow down brother .
Now this here is some pretty pessimistic "cautious optimism".

So, don't bother with it. Note that mapcow even liked my post where I stated exactly this.

Like you incorrectly swore we were going to 3 years ago and every year since?

No wonder you are so bitter being so terribly wrong all of this time. It must eat away at you after all of the time and energy you've given this campaign of hate toward Thomas. One would almost feel sorry for you. Not quite, but almost.

Man... you are dumb. No hate, just reality. Thomas has not done squat for this Team since he got a bo bo on his toe ...

You aren't getting my point. I think we can defeat them, I never said we were better than them. We are on the rise and in the playoffs it comes down to one game at a time. By the time we get to the playoffs, we could be much better. Right now it'd take one hell of a performance to beat either team, which is exactly why the prospect of playing both of them terrifies me. Right now we may be able to pull a game out of our ass. I'm banking on us getting better though and evening the odds some more.

Map I wouldn't even waste my time. Year after year he gets into middle school conversations with members on this board.

A pattern of repeated behavior. Narcissistic personality disorder.

George (Saintfan) warned us.

Brother, this team needs to worry about the next opponent ... the Texans.

Then focus on the division (we are 3rd atm) ... you know, the teams like Atlanta or Bucs. Some have already forgotten we were flat out embarassed by Baker Mayfield in the dome 2 weekends ago.

Maybe you missed my point ... ONE GAME AT A TIME.

We aren't good enough to take coach Don Shows (West Monroe High school legend) approach by circling teams off before the match up.

But carry on ...

That is an interesting question, I had to rationalize my answer with my actions and not my feelings.

On the surface, I did not draft MT this year in fantasy because he has no consistency. So for same reasons I find "Power Rankings" before the start of a season absurd and useless, performance last year doesn't define next year.

Thinking abut it deeper, the MT question is not just about MT is it? QB accuracy and play calling weigh heavily into that equation and what we have doesn't move the needle into a favorable direction for me.
