A playoff birth extends Dennis Allen's tenure, and unless you believe that he is the path to a future Super Bowl, that is a very bad thing.

In no way does a playoff berth extend anything other than an additional game, at least, for the dedicated fans of our Saints to attend another game and support the team that we love. I'm sorry, but no part of me accepts the desire for my Saints to lose any game. To me those that feel that way are no different than a lowly Falcons' or Bucs' fan. Once again, I'm sorry if any of you have an issue with that, but that is just how I feel. And I assure you that I am not alone in that. I refuse to take any pleasure from my beloved team losing any game. Never. I don't care anything about those that feel differently. That's on them. |
