Well, Payton probably thought we had him in our grasp. Andy made the best trade in the history of the NFL and jumped one spot ahead of us and nabbed him. If I’m not mistaken, the trade was made with Sean’s current team.

I'll give it to Spaggs, his defense has really performed well in post season.
The Lions had the Niners by the throat and let em off the hook. I thought Dan would have learned his lesson (take the points - fg) in the Dallas game. Big lead at halftime, but the 3rd quarter was BRUTAL . Niners will have their hands full with the Champs. Good weekend of championship football. |

And that Patrick Mahommes guy is ELITE. Best chance (in addition to good coaching/special teams and defense) of getting to a SUPER BOWL?
Find and develop a QB ... KC has participated in 4 of the last 5 Super Bowls. THAT is a ridiculous number & I don't see Andy Reid retiring anytime soon. |

I understand people getting tired of sports media slobbering all over Mahomes, and I am very tired of seeing Taylor Swift every time Kelce catches a pass, but... I cannot and will not hope for the 49ers to win a Superbowl.

Love him or be sick of him, Mahomes is an anomaly. A freak of nature. KC is a well managed, well coached well proven championship level football team. And if even a fraction of my “conspiracy theory” is accurate, the franchise partnering up with the most popular pop media starlet in the world, makes for a very good business model for everyone involved, except for us (understandably) severely disappointed Saints Fans.
