I guess I mainly differ on your idea of Doom and Gloom. I’ve spent many years living in areas where the NFL teams were good and watched them win SBs. But I’ve also watched those teams completely suck, win 3 or less games and be true laughing stocks. Saints haven’t been that poor in many years. People are talking about doom and gloom with a team that had a winning record. I just can’t agree with that point of view.

Look at the good/great teams Buffalo put out there and never won. Same with Minnesota. And some have the idea to be critical of this franchise because they “only” won1 championship despite getting shafted by the league once for bounty gate and another by the worst call in NFL history? I don’t see it.

Payton and Brees had many 7-9 years then rebounded. When/if the team has a 3 win season and can look for a QB in the top 5 picks then I’ll agree with the sky is falling narrative. But while the team is competing, winning more than they lose, and in the playoff hunt until the last week of the season I’ll be happy to be a Saints fan. Lots of teams are doing way worse.

Your last sentence is so sad, I cannot even respond to it.

Once again, sincere condolences.

Thanks again. Not sure how “Lots of teams are doing way worse” is a sad statement, but thanks again.

I'll guarantee you that several other fanbases would rather be in our shoes right now and they wouldn't be off base.

Couldn't agree more with all of that, Boston.

His hatred appears to run deep, Boston. It seems as though if everything isn't running according to his plan there is no hope and our future is doomed. At least from the tiny smattering I see in quoted posts. Let me know if I am wrong about that impression.

Translation: A billion dollar organization has been serving up warm dog sh*t for lunch almost every Sunday for the past two years, and for dinner on some Thursday Nights, but other organizations are serving up hot horse sh*t, so we cool.

My plan is to watch championship football, and my Saints are about as effective as your “IGNORE” function.

No, a **** meal is what the Pats had loosing to us by 34 and only winning 4 games. A **** meal is Carolina losing to us twice on the way to a 2 win season while knowing you have no first round draft pick coming up. A **** meal is Arizona only winning 4 again and trying to figure out how to compete in a division with the Niners and Rams. A **** meal is being a Jets Fan happy with 7 wins because it’s the most your team has had in 9 seasons and they finally are better that the Pats.

What the Saints gave this year was a decent meal. It wasn’t the best…it may have been overpriced…but it was tasty and a clean restaurant. Some folks turned it to **** because they didn’t like the whine list or wanted a better table.

Amen and Hallelujah, Brother Boston!

Maybe it's time for that sinner guy hater to move on to another franchise. I see he hasn't changed at all.
