I just had a thought. What if Turner heals up and is able to play more games in the next couple of years like Davenport did? Payton Turner always looked good to me when he was able to play, and if we can get him on the field more often he might be productive enough for us to get some comp value for him or we might extend him if he can limit the injury bug. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to become NFL tough.
Heck! Even Peat with his injury history played well enough this year to get another shot with the team. |

The lack of production & snaps is going to make it easy (or at least it should) on determining if they pick up his 5th year option. I have yet to see anything to prove that he deserves a higher price tag. And Foskey needs to bring it this year. He's been in the tub most of his rookie season.
