Time To Move On At Tackle?

It is growing more and more apparent that we may be getting closer and closer to jettisoning young Mr. Penning in one way or another. Trade value may be minimal, if at all existent. Backing up or a move to the practice squad, perhaps? We probably have two or three options on the roster that could be an upgrade after this latest experiment. But, there's always outside sources.

Anyone know of an offensive tackle vaguely familiar with the Shanahan/Kubiak scheme that could step in and do better than what we currently have in house?

Probably need to push Saldiveri back to RT and hope they can find help when other teams start roster trimming.

Don't you think, the overpaid talent scouts, coaches, owners might have a better sense of knowledge of the caliber of players (Offensive Tackle) that are available, than you are any of us? If not, then what and why the hell are they in said positions? Especially scouts and coaches!!

You bring to the table, the very point and observation that there is a serious lack of leadership and decision making within the Saints organization or they just don't give a squat. So, as long as THEY get their money, screw the ability to win, much less make the playoffs, or Superbowl for that matter.
