Re: So... who you got as next Saints HC ?
I think we can all, or at least mostly agree that we’re no better off this year than last couple of seasons. First two games were a fluke against two sorry teams. DA is not coaching material and Loomis is unhinged if he thinks it’s ok to continue like this. I don’t care what his record shows, he’s riding the coattail of Sean’s success and it’s time to move on from him as well if he can’t make necessary adjustments.
Will Gayle step up and take care of business? DA was set up in a good situation to succeed his second time around and is still failing in his third season smdh All in all this falls back on Mickey. |

Re: So... who you got as next Saints HC ?
You would have to be a idiot to take over next year.
You either have to completely decimate the roster and have no money to replace players or yet again extend players way past their best or worth. You want to be the guy after the next guy unless you are told and Loomis says you have the job 2/3 years no matter what. But that would leave Mickey having to admit he has screwed up this roster management beyond repair This is what you end up with after the constant keep the band together for one more try. Had they cut their losses then they could have had a way out. There was never a plan for post Brees so they just kept trying |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Short and long answer: Dennis Allen.

Without question Brian Flores. I wanted him when they decided on Allen. Disciplinarian in the mold of Tomlin. Get him here as soon as possible

Nobody up and coming or a big name like Bellicheck will touch the job. $81ml over the cap and look at the highest earners and dead money vs cap savings
With 6 picks next year Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 6 Round 6 Way over the cap with a injury probe, over paid roster than you likely have to stick with and few picks to change things up. |

Saints need a HC the players will respect and listen to. The johny-come-latelys are mostly unproven. Might get lucky, might not. I remember SP conveying a story about Parcells and staying too long with a certain franchise. The win now culture has shown us the demise of longer tenured coaches with one team, Tomlin notwithstanding. It's the old argument: Is it the coach or the HOF QB? Probably a little of both. Andy Reid says hello in KC after all these years in Philly. I say let's get our own Andy Reid in bringing BB here. The man just knows and understands football. And he wants to continue coaching. He loves it. | |
