this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Leaning Brady. Is he strong enough to stand up to Loomis and the cronies? Would view McCarthy as a quality coach but will he take us beyond round 1 of the playoffs? Glenn is going to Jets. We passed up ...

Would view McCarthy as a quality coach but will he take us beyond round 1 of the playoffs? Glenn is going to Jets. We passed up on him when we had the chance and now we're in a worse spot while the J.E.T.S. have money and motivation with a much better roster. Slowik, Flores, Gruden.... none of them have what we need. |

Unfortunately I will watch the Saints no matter who they choose, but I agree Deion is not a wise choice. Only offensive coach I might would give a shot to is Lincoln Riley or Marcus Freeman. You may not like Riley’s style but his history with quarterbacks is second to none.

There is no humility with Deion Sanders and 'daddy ball' is part of Deion being all about Deion, his children are just an extension of him. In other words admiration for Deion Sanders is in no way shape or form the same as admiration for Shula, Landry, or Belichick. All masters of what they did just not viewed in the same light if you get my meaning. |

If you had told me in his playing days that Deion would've become a viable coach and produced a Heisman winner I would've laughed you out of the room. It's amazing how far he's coming.
He'd be quite a gamble. But in the odd chance that it works out for him in NOLA, it would really trigger Atlanta, Dallas and San Fran, and that aspect would be very cool. |

Re: Head Coaching News and Rumors
The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vinny Bonsigno reports there is “a lot of momentum” for Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson taking the Raiders head coaching job.
What a shocker this would be. |
