If the Saints acquired and started Dorian Thompson Robinson, I believe we could be in a position to hold the #1 overall draft pick in 2026 and have the options of selecting our choice of QB or trading for massive stockpile of picks. Not saying this is plan A, but it makes more sense to me than Rodgers, Tannehill, Cousins, etc.

If we do target a veteran QB, maybe we can some useful starts out of Desmond Ridder. It'd be funny if he had a great game and beat Atlanta at least.

It makes you wonder how long he played injuried. He was not a bad qb. The first two games last year he looked like the next Drew. We have to remember we did not win a game without him last year. Next season might be a long one.

There's zero chance the saints didn't know . There very likely was language where Saints could have filed a grievance to recoup some dollars. For it to work as it did, how can it not be but an orchestrated calculated move.

They might, but something tells me they go after a vet for shough to take over for mid season

Really any player that's been under the HC, OC, or DC. People do a lot of familiarity hires.
