The only member of this team playing up to his ability right now is Steve Weatherford the punter. Unless the entire team wakes up and plays on the level they are capable of this will be one long season and every reporter will let us have it because that is what they do best, write crap.
You can call it crap... but if you walk like a duck, talk like a duck and smell like a duck you are a duck.

Week in and week out if they stip onto the field it should be the reporters writing crap it should be us the fans giving them just what they give us... crap.

I DON'T care if he scores 2 TD's you can tune in and watch him do that every week if you like but as we rack up numbers in the lost column I am not ok with that!!!!

0-3 and 10-9 in regular season so for.

Euph,

As you well know Pro football is the ultimate team game. It's impossible for a single player to singlehandedly win games.

It both proves your point and refutes it at the same time. The Saints need a consistent offensive line to be successful. Of course you draft for that. But by the same token when you have a special skill player, you can't afford to pass that player up either.

There will be another tackle in the draft this year, and the year after that and the year after that. 5 years from now though Bush will probably be in the ballpark of LT and Sander. Those players do not come along in the draft every year, or even every other year.

Also as much as we probably both as much hate to admit it, it is in fact about more than wins and losses. If we had passed on Bush it would have been a PR disaster for the team.

SFIAH

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Euph, where did I say that you called Reggie a bust. I never said that! You should take some of your own medicine and not put words in my mouth. The only thing directed to you was that I understand you wanting to build an o-line but D'Brick has been absolutely HORRIBLE and Reggie was the right pick. Anything after that was me ranting about D'Brick and the clown who wrote the article.

And, FYI, the jets offense is ranked 28th, we're ranked 25 this year. The jets offense is horrible and D'Brick isn't doing anything to help them. Mangold was a good pick for them but D'Brick has been a huge bust. I agree that you need a solid o and d-line to win championships but our o-line was good last year and D'Brick wouldn't be starting on this team.

Those guys aren't the top linemen... you wanna settle for mediocre lines and get blasted by top DL. Ok welcome to 0-3 You take a 2-3years and draft first rate - first round linemen. You'll be in more games than not. The game is ment to be played in the trenches.

I mean after all we are doing your way and we are 0-3.

Re: Is Reggie Bush the New Tony Mandarich?

Euph, that was in the 2nd paragraph. The first paragraph was for you (actually only the first 3 sentences were for you). I made a new paragraph because I was done talking specifically to you. That whole 2nd paragraph was for the clown who wrote the article.

But whatever, I'm just excited/curious to see what he can do as the feature back. Hopefully coming off a bye week we can get the ball rolling. I'm not convinced anyone is going to run away with this division. If we can turn the corner, I think we can make a run at this division.

Tony Mandarich?

I would not go that far

lets look at this from an objective point
Bush is not having a grate season due to the lack of affective blocking not because he is a flop
come on the few times he did get some blocks up front he moved the ball well

I think that the Reggie bashing is getting out of hand
