I don't think I need to elaborate on this.

Re: David Did Play Well

Here is what a lot of people don't see when they watch the game.

Lets take MM giving up a TD in the endzone. Who's fault? Saftey! He was suppose to help on the DEEP routes... the deep route was the one MM was covering on. Instead the safety bit on the shorter underneath route that I can't tell who it was covering that WR it appears to be craft. But the point is our safties are getting picked on bigtime. They aren't where they are suppose to be.

Ron Landry of Washington. Rookie out of LSU, whatch that guy play saftey... he is where he is suppose to be and lit up Burress on a deep route. Taunting made it all for not but that is how you play saftey. Our guys are running like chickens with there heads cut off.

I blame our D coaching first and for most for not teaching them how to play disiplined football.

This post demonstrates understanding of the concept of safety help, but not very good tape evaluation. On that particular play, the offensive play call had a double in route with required the safety to cover the shorter in route, while McKenzie had to cover the deep route. This was because the defense called was "quarters". It just happened to be the right offensive call against that defense (or the wrong defensive call for that offensive play - depending on how you look at it). If the safety hadn't moved up to cover the shorter in, that's who the ball would have went to and the result would have been the same for the offense. Then we'd be complaining how the safety hadn't moved up to cover the shorter route....

You play to much Madden... LOL! There was a man to cover the inside WR. It was man to man with a saftey to add double coverage on the deepest route. Everyone was covered but the Saftey instead of dropping back went forward to help the DB on the shorter route. Which was weak coverage is why he probably bit on it seeing it happen in front of him he just reacted instead of being disiplined staying home and taking his responsibility on he bit on a drag route which would have been picked up by a LB.

You must not have watched the game on Fox, because the exact description I gave you above is how the analysts explained that play. I don't play Madden, though I've heard of it. It seems obvious that either you don't know much about defensive play calling and assignments, or you simply cannot admit when you are wrong when it doesn't support your erroneous argument.

Re: David Did Play Well

TWO POINTS HERE.

1. JASON DAVID SUCKS, he has played some plays well, but I cannot remember him playing well for one whole game. No one plays great for a whole game, but a starting CB should not have as many bad plays as David has this year.

2. JOSH BULLOCKS SUCKS, he has played some plays well, but I cannot remember him playing well for one whole game. No one plays great for a whole game, but a starting S should not have as many bad plays as Bullocks has this year.
