What is all the hate on Bullocks....was anyone screaming YOU SUCK 2 years ago when we where all but tasting the SB. Bullocks, like everyone else in our secondary is a product of a really bad secondary. QB's are groomed and started for their ability to find the holes in a secondary...and we had a bunch. The whole defensive unit is at fault for last year....not Bullocks. As far as J. David goes....bad decision to pick him up but not because he is a bad corner, but because he is in the wrong system. He is a zone cover corner and I knew he would be horrible in our system. I do not think that we will cut the rookie kicker. If we do then it will be called the worst draft pick ever in my opinion. Why waste that pick on a kicker if you do not know he can make the team. WR, Safety or maybe in a stretch OL but not a kicker. 4-6th rounds is normally when kickers start going off the board so I would hope that we did not gamble a 6th on a kicker if we wheren't for sure he could kick. Also although K. Houser is a great LS...it is all he does. Look for the coaching staff to try to find a dual role guy to fill that spot if possible. With all the talent on the field they will try to free up that roster spot with either a 3rd QB or CB/WR....Arrington maybe...we'll see. |

Re: 86-man Minicamp Depth Chart
Like I said in my earlier post. I NEVER liked Josh Bullocks. He sucked when we were good and he sucked when we were bad. He is the WORST player on our roster in my opinion. He cannot catch consistently, so he cannot be a significant playmaker. He's a liability agianst the run because he does not tackle well and takes poor angles. For a guy that is supposedly so fast he always seems to be late in pass coverage. Is it only me that thought that KK was SOOO much better when he got the start during Bullocks injury last year? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Bullocks is not a product of a bad defense. The bad defense is a product of Bullocks. Piece of F^&&*&*% S%@#. I will argue this until I die.

I like that roster. But I think they may keep the LBer who was drafted in the 7th round last year, and maybe cut the CB Glenn. That would keep 6 LBers and 6 CBs. That is just my thought, I don't know what is best to do.

P.S. If DB's could catch....they would be on offense! |

But That last comment was just not fair. You just dropped your guard and left yourself wide open here. Confused I will give you a hint. The starting FS for the Saints is a guy whose name does not end with Harper. Just thought I would warn you that a sucker punch is coming. Other than that this has been a pretty good one. I will go back to watching now |

Re: 86-man Minicamp Depth Chart
I was wondering if someone was going to notice that.
Of course, one might add that it was David on that side of the field. That might, at least, make it tough(er) to call. |

Re: 86-man Minicamp Depth Chart
Bullocks plays behind MM on the right side of the field. He is never responsable for deep balls down the left sideline. Not in cover 3, not in cover 2 not even in m2m. In cover 1 maybe as over the top help but only during a blitz package that puts Harper on a blitz or maned up against a RB/TE. And as far as our safeties biting on play action....it happens...exspecialy against teams who can't stop the run without safety help..i.e. us.
