Pick # (237) New Orleans Saints (From Green Bay) - Adrian Arrington WR MICHIGAN
Why not start with the Saints. They seem to know what they’re doing in the late rounds. Arrington opted to leave early due to the impending Rich Rodriguez regime, which would have undoubtedly curtailed his numbers. Scouts tend to think he’ll be unable to separate at the next level and lacks the explosiveness needed. I say he has raw skills and with the right help at the next level, can be a viable slot option in the right system. He’s tough, and will not shy way from the middle of the field. this has been my argument for awhile now...this article just kinda sums it up and confirms it....arrington has solid basic skills down....i just dont see ne breakaway ability...as far as meachem goes...i hope he pans out...if so....he will be a great addition....he was the top WR coming out of last year according to several sources(after calvin johnson)....i agree almost 100% with what BRsaintsfan said....henderson i think is very valuable just because of his speed...whether he catches ne passes at all doesnt really matter because he will at least take a safety away when he burns the nickel or dime corner.....again....i reiterate....colston and meachem will end up at WR with patten in the slot....i like arringtons hands but i dont see him projecting into the NFL....lance moore makes the team as a returner at least on PR....terrance copper and adrian arrington will compete for the final WR spot...devery has one year left i think to show what he has or he can find somewhere else to work....the taco bell down the street is hiring |

Re: A quick look at the WR
I guess I am the only person that sees only three untouchables in at WR.
Colston and patten we all agree. Mech well he was a first rounder. After that none should be safe. All replaceable. |
