I am going to trust coaches and management on this one. They won us a SB...they deserve that and more.

Pay him market value, but listen to any and all offers.
DO NOT pay him 8 million. |

I think we should trade him somewhere and get another 1st and maybe 3rd round pick in the draft tehn Build Defenseive front... What Bush can do Pierre can do

Re: 2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.
If he's willing to take a big pay cut, I say keep him. A service player like Bush is part of most of the big teams. Teams need someone who can do several things - this keeps options open, and makes a defensive game plan tougher.
Problem is that he's getting first round, starter pay. Most service players are getting backup salaries. I, personally, think he might be willing to take a significant pay cut to stay. This is how a dynasty is actually built - players get paid less to play there because the know they have a chance to win. |

I am sure Pete Carroll would like a reunion with him in Seattle...if there is a good offer we should take it.

Re: 2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.
I will ask again. His contract is not up for two years. Why are we worried now? As far as I know a contract is still worth the paper it is written on correct?
He signed a 6 year contract in 2006 Injuries were a whore this season. He can do what a lot of players do but if you do not keep him and Thomas gets hurt, Bell gets hurt, etc... you are left with no depth. Elite teams have depth. We need to start thinking like an elite team, and not try to piece together the cheapest thing we can find. I will ask another question again. Do you want to face him? Do you want him returning punts on you? Some players are worth paying just so you do not have to play against them. |

Re: 2010 - Keep or Cut Reggie Bush.
We fear no man...including Bush. We know all of his weaknesses and would have no problem spanking him if he put on a different color. I like Reggie and I like what he does. Restructuring is the best option for this organization. 8 million is just too much. There is nowhere Reggie can go in the league, and get the touches and opportunities to showcase his talents like he has in Sean Payton's offensive schemes. I believe Reggie knows that. His agent probably sees things very differently($$$). If he/they refuse to restructure, deal him for a 1+2 or a 1+3 and use the money to sure up or lock down some of the other positions. Sean Payton will find a way to do without him I'm sure. But he is nice to have in your back pocket.
