Where did Meacham go?
Disregard. Just saw the last page with the 'complete' roster. |

And once again Don Johnson is going to be on the lips of everyone... since he is naturally going play the leading role as Crockett... and the real hook is that the show is still gonna take place in the '80's even though the name might make you think otherwise. Oh, and Michael Mann is definitely gonna direct it. By the way... David Caruso clearly stole his "sunglass move." |

I'm just hoping that some new faces can step up and make a difference, make some plays, stir up the mix and rejuvenate some vets to play at a high level. I'm kind of hoping for some new names in the news. We can't even try to be the 09' team or last years team; we've got to get better. Sometimes that means new blood. It's our time! AGAIN!

The depth chart when it comes to the LB corps may one of Linebacker by Committee; on the Nola.com/Saints video section, Casillas suggests just that... Jonathan Casillas says the linebacker rotation possible rotation for New Orleans Saints - Video | NOLA.com Maybe Williams must have wanted to be a hockey coach that "changes the line"; that would be incredible to just change a whole corps of linebackers after so many plays in the middle of a drive... |

If we have issues at linebacker we could always sign the Jeff, Steve, and Jack...

Projected 53 man Roster players (those that make the cut) are listed bold; injured players are italicized; (r) > Rookie
QB Drew Brees, Chase Daniel, Sean Canfield FB Korey Hall, Jed Collins(r), Kolby Hurt(r) RB Mark Ingram(r), Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, Joique Bell, Chris Ivory, Chris Taylor WR Marques Colston, Robert Meachem, Joseph Morgan(r), Adrian Arrington(i) FL Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, Courtney Roby, Jarred Fayson(r) LT Jermon Bushrod, Charles Brown, Alex Barron, Jordan Black LG Carl Nicks, Roger Allen, Mike Smith C Olin Kreutz, Matt Tennant, Cecil Newton(r), Ryan Taylor(r) RG Jahri Evans, Brian de la Puente(r), Dan Gay(r) RT Jon Stinchcomb, Zach Strief, George Foster TE Jimmy Graham, David Thomas, Tory Humphrey, Tyler Lorenzen(r) LDE Alex Brown, Cam Jordan(r), Junior Galette DT Sedrick Ellis, Tom Johnson(r), Mitch King(r) NT Shaun Rogers, Aubrayo Franklin, Swanson Miller(r), Dexter Larimore(r) RDE Will Smith, Jeff Charleston, Turk McBride, Greg Romeus(r) WLB Scott Shanle, Jonathan Casillas, Nate Bussey MLB Jonathan Vilma, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Ezra Butler(r) SLB Will Herring, Martez Wilson(r), Clint Ingram LCB Jabari Greer, Johnny Patrick(r), Leigh Torrence SS Roman Harper, Pierson Prioleau, Paul Oliver, Chris Reis, Isa Abdul-El Quddus(r) FS Malcolm Jenkins, Jonathan Amaya, Andre McDaniel(r) RCB Tracy Porter, Patrick Robinson, Fabian Washington, Trumaine McBride PK Garrett Hartley P Thomas Morstead LS Justin Drescher, Kyle Nelson(r) - Was the emphasis to Roby and Humphrey in the offense a staff need for evaluation? or were the coaches doing these vets a solid of getting them exposure as their release is a forgone conculsion? - Just how serious is the Johnny Patrick injury? Injuries at cornerback are a serious issue even more so now... - Offense definitely had its rust; not a good test in the 49ers - Williams ignores NFL Gentlemen's agreement and blitzes crazy - Morgan shows the greater Saints Nation what the buzz has been all about. Now, does Adrian Arrington answer the bell? - At Defensive Tackle, Tom Johnson looks like he could be a solid NFL pro; Mitch King will not go quietly away and shows some fire... - Nate Bussey has the talent to play at the NFL level; Casillas is a smart, instictive player with poor injury history and size for OLB... |
