I think the point made in the comment below the article, about not being trade material due to the week six deadline taking place before he is eligible, makes the conversation moot.

Am I right or wrong?

Still, if it was possible, I wouldn't like to see it happen.

But, naturally it would depend on who the Saints would get in return.

I sure did like what I saw in Ivory, but even though he is currently healthy, only time will tell if he stays that way. He has a checkered history when it comes to staying healthy...

If I was calling the shots, there is no way in the world I would trade Ivory. Right now the Saints are fortunate to have healthy running backs, one game can change that quick.

Chris Ivory is the Saints best RB? I know that you fell in love with the kid but the best RB on the team? You would have a difficult time convincing me that he could beat out Ingram for the 3rd best back on the team.

I'd trade the guy for a great, make that good, player on defense in a heart beat.

No way Ingram beats his rushing yards from last year...and C.I wasnt even drafted....Payton will make room for him ..i can promise you that..Why would we trade away a weapon?..he will be needed later when we make the playoffs...again video evidence..

Ivory was great last year when he played. I think that if Ingram was given the same opportunity he could be better. Ingram has displayed more ability over a longer period of time..

I'm all for getting great talent in a trade for him but that wouldn't happen. No team is willing to trade off a great player for another great player that can't stay on the field.
