I think Sean Payton makes the difference.
He is smart enough not to put a weak arm in strong arm situations. Payton would scheme to the strengths of whoever our backup would be. The level of talent that he keeps on the offensive roster would allow even a mediocre QB some success. We may not light up SportsCenter, but we would look nothing like Indy did Sunday night. PS- Manning being hurt has nothing to do with the Colts poor showing on defense. |
