I am a straight up pessimist and envision the worst possible scenario, but in my worst nightmares I never ever could've come up with this. It's outlandishly ridiculous we go down like this to serve as an example to others. Vilma must be biting his nails right now. No matter what, WHO DAT? I stand by my team always, now more than ever. |

Hard to say we will survive this after this strict of a punishment and the punishment's aren't over yet.
Half our defense may be gone for some or all the games. I'm expecting the worst at this point, no reason why anyone else shouldn't after what has happened today |

At this point we can overcome what has happened so far and have a productive season.
Depending on how Goodell handles the players, this is where he can ruin our season... |

At least the players can appeal their suspensions through the NFLPA. And will probably appeal together or in large groups.
So the suspensions might not be too heavy, and hopefully they can/should be staggered ... but still how do you handle having on the order of 3-10 players suspended for your game? With only a 53-man roster? When your GM is also suspended?! |

I got a new Room mate today that played for GW with the Redskins (he's playing for my team this year). We of course talked a lot about this whole ordeal and he said something along these lines:
"There were a performance system in place where you got rewarded for sacks, INTs, strips and so forth, there also was a fine system in place for missed tackles, mental errors, dropped passes and such, the two usually evened out. Never were there anybody, player or coach, that was talking about intentionally injuring an opponent, that just doesn't happen." |

How does the SP 1 year ban work?
Is he allowed to do "anything" with the team at all? As ludicrous as this may sound, could he be watching the Saints playing on tv and phone in the plays to someone? |
