His salary is not counted against the CAP as soon as the suspension starts. Which is now. All others are going to be pro-rated, which will give us a little bit more money.

All in all this really isn’t gonna hurt us all that much. If I we’re Vilma though I’d spend the whole season getting in best possible shape. Him and SP should spend some time together.

I agree with this. What would have been worse, losing Vilma for the season or many of our defenders for a few games? I tend to think the Vilma's best says are behind him and he has injury issues. I think our improved LB corps will help us absorb this blow.

Losing Smith will hurt, but who knows with the appeals process he may not have to serve until he's no longer on the team either?
