I do agree with Saintkiller, but I don't think Tony Gonzalez is too old and slow.

I think Turner is declining, too. He got stuck in the backfield way too much last season.

Probably, but the best running backs are able to make big gains out of absolutely nothing all the time.

Wasn't Turner the third leading rusher in the NFL last year? And didn't you guys say before the o-line was bad last year? Wouldn't that be making yards out of nothing?

Preseason is preseason. No one is showing their hand whether it be offense or defense.

He was third in rushing yards. I said he either got stuck barely across the line of scrimmage or in the backfield way too much last year.

Well if the third leading rusher isn't good enough for the new falcons offense, how good does he have to be?

I'm not saying he totally sucks, but hey, he's 30 now, and we've got to move on from him soon. Notice that JacQuizz Rodgers had more carries than Turner had last night. JacQuizz was taken out for the night the same time that the rest of the starters were benched. If the training camp reports I'd been reading over the season are correct, Rodgers is going to start getting as much carries as he does.
