I Would Agree If Ed Reed Lost A Lot Of One On One Battles With Receivers....Whenever A Pass Is Thrown And Ed Reed Is There I Think "Thats Picked Off"....Whenever Its Between Harper And A Receiver I Yell Out Loud "Please No Pass Interference!!!"....

Probably not but I never claimed to be a defensive coordinator, Spud applied and got the job so who do you think is to be held accountable to what we saw today and last week.

geez; It's been two games! Let them get comfortable and learn all the nuances of the defense... There's an old saying " Rome wasn't built in a day". Same with a new defense, you're not gonna make a top 10 D in a couple of games...

We dont need a top 10 defense. We need an average defense that can hold teams to 20 points or less. The offense can still score even with issues they're having. Just goes to show how bad the defense is.

At this point I would settle for a top 25, I would love this to turn around and get better in the next few weeks but I don't see it happening. If I'm wrong I'll be the first to admit it, but the following has to get better

1 Pass Rush
2 linebacker play
3 coverage by corners & safeties

Basically the whole defense

Like I said 2 games is not enough time to say the defense will not improve...

We have a weak set of 4 down linemen. Watch the game tonight with San Fran. Their front 4 are lean, tall and evasive. 2 of our front 4 are fat and too slow.

If we got pressure up front no one would care about the DB's because they would not be depended on like they are now play after play.
