I hope not, I don't really see where that move has been beneficial...

Depends in if the right players falls out the first round.In sure it would cost us our second or third rounder this year aswell as the second next.
I'd rather see if we could trade a player for 2-4 round picks.

See that's the thing, we can never seem to come out even or ahead in a trade; but I'd love to get rid of higher salaried players for some younger, faster, cap-friendlier Saints...

but so is everyone else in the league not named the Jets, Cardinals, and Raiders...

I think its just precautionary. If I'm a prospect, I'm wearing the damn things out to dinner.

I've always thought some form of knee brace/support should be mandatory in the NFL.

Some schools make all their lineman wear dem braces as a precaution. I'm not a 100% sold on it but I can see the reasoning behind it.

Technique and drills is the best way to prevent injuries...

Never was injured till I was told to wear a brace - I truly believe in my mind/body that I relied on the brace and that's when it happened...

Agree with precaution, but technique and skill drills are vastly under utilized on all levels - and the proof is in professional football players and the high number of mistackles...

I blew my knee out 3 times while not wearing a brace and required surgery. I tweaked it 4 or 5 more times afterwards while not wearing one.

I never tweaked it once while wearing one.
