2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Taller than Jimmy, now the fade in the endzone would be like stealing plus it would be funny to see a formation where Colston was the shortest WR out there...

Yeah, Imagine a two TE set with Graham (6-7) and Toilolo (6-8) together with Colston (6-4) and Toon (6-4).

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board

drew can only stand so tall and so long on his tip-pie toes to se over the line. height is key then add in those arms dam large target area

Levine Toilolo Stanford
6-8 260
Bench 17
Arms 34.48
Hand 10.28

Dion Sims Michigan State
6-5 262
Bench 22
Arms 33.18
Hand 10.48

both are also good blockers to boot. they better get help in this department also

need to add

Vance McDonald Rice
6-4, 267
Bench 31 reps
Arms 34 3/8
Hand 10.48

odds are he will not be a saint but his move up draft boards maybe the reason we might have one of these other TE available to pick.

Toilolo didn't have an impressive Bench Press - makes me wonder about his work ethic as an athlete...

We no longer have a seventh rounder so he's a sixth rounder for us or bust...

It's not uncommon for people with long arms to struggle with the bench press. I wouldn't use that as a main barometer to gauge his work ethic.

Understand the long arm struggle - but there have been other flags in articles that reinforces the idea he hasn't really focused on developing his talent to be a special player...

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board

Caught some of the combine re-run today.

Matt Furstenburg, TE, Maryland

He's looking like a nice late round prospect... definitely earned himself a right to get drafted. Pretty good combine.

Tyler Eifert(TE, Notre Dame) looks really smooth. Someone is going to get themselves one heck of a prospect. I can see what the hype is all about.

i would hate to see the saints come out of this draft without a TE and at the least 1 OT. its to deep this year

250 lbs sounds about right, thankfully it wasn't lower than that.
