Greer was frustrated with injuries this past year - i.e. sports hernia, pulled groin, and a concussion... Greer is a fine defensive back, but his skill set, physical attributes, experience would be better suited to teams with zone coverage... Teams that have run zone of late were 49ers, Steelers, Chiefs, Packers, Bears, Tampa, Colts, Vikings... If we're looking for ways to increase the room under the salary cap - then explore creative ways and better fits for both the Saints and players who'd have better situations elsewhere... And, without a doubt, Patrick Robinson has been given yet another opportunity to show he can be a success in this league with a new DC and scheme... I for one have not been happy with the production of first round selections by the Saints... |

SAINTS DEPTH CHART - 2013 The bookends on the offensive line are the anticipated battle; but reserve spots at quarterback and wide receiver should provide some nice entertainment... This will be the most scrutinized off-season in ten years... Every, I mean every single position on defense should be up for grabs after last year's effort... Wouldn't be surprised to see five, six veterans gone after training camp breaks... SAINTS DEPTH CHART - 2013 DEFENSE DE Cameron Jordan, Kenyon Coleman NT Brodrick Bunkley, John Jenkins (R) DE Akiem Hicks, Will Smith JLB Junior Galette, Victor Butler, Chase Thomas (R) SLB David Hawthorne, Will Herring MLB Curtis Lofton, Chris Chamberlain, Kevin Reddick(R) WLB Jon Vilma, Martez Wilson CB Jabari Greer, Corey White, Rod Sweeting (R) FS Malcolm Jenkins, Rafael Bush SS Kenny Vaccaro (R), Isa Abdul-Quddus/Roman Harper CB Keenan Lewis, Patrick Robinson *2013 Draftee, Free Agent, Rookie Undrafted Free Agent **Hot Spots/Competition |

Harper is cap carry over safe plus Vacarro has yet to play Strief i say IR safe. All our OT's have long iR history. Jr. i still do not see how he fits in but the contract extension means some one thinks they have a plan. Hartley i put as the #1 hot seat candidate. never the same after the hip injury Will Herring and Chris Chamberlain are on my hot seat list |
