This is Sean Paytons team. Sean Payton did the interviewing of Rob Ryan and the hiring of Rob Ryan. It was also Sean Paytons decision and plan to switch to a 3-4 defense which played a huge part in the selection. |

No sane person questions Sean Payton's stature as a premier coach in this league. Naturally, he is not perfect. This year some of his play-calling has been questionable. He obviously does not believe in his run game. He, obviously, has bet the house on the defense. So, that tells you alot about what Payton thinks about his offense.
