Mark Ingram rushes for career-high 172 yards in win over Packers

Our offense is far superior to last year. If it gets into gear it could be better than 2011. I feel like if our defense got to last years levels, we'd have the best team in the NFL. Nobody else is really standing out besides Dallas and Denver. We need to commit to running with Ingram. I actually think he'd be injured less if he got more touches.

Defense is getting better. Last year we actually struggled defensively at the beginning of the year before turning it into gear. That leaves me rather optimistic for the rest of the season.

Injuries forced his hand, but now he has something. I am not an Ingram fan... but even I can admit when I am wrong. If he does this against Carolina a team with a little bit better run D I would then say unclutter the backfield.... until seasons end and let this beast run....

oL seems to finally have this Zone blocking thing down which fits Mark style and it is what he is use too

Add in the fact he finally got to pound the rock for what 80% of the running plays proves what most have said about him. he needs a large bulk of carries.

nice night all the way around for him. surprise contribution in the passing game to boot. his off season work is showing

shame Lelito is still a work in progress in the screen game. he miss judge who to block more than once limiting Marks yardage in the passing game. But Tim did show signs of improvement in pass protection. so there is an upside. next year he might be ready.

Carolina will be different beast all together. so enjoy it while we can it is a short work week

Lelito looked like he was improving on the screen blocking...

In fact, there was one play where he knew he wasn't going to hit his assignment, he let Ingram evade the defender and Lelito went to the second level defender allowing a nice gainer, not a PT gainer, but a nice gainer; I thought that showed well of Lelito...

MI is looking a lot better, making those cuts and heading upfield much much better than earlier in his career. He's coming around.

Congratulation to M Ingram and OL. I was one pulling my hair when Chris Ivory & Darren Sproles was traded instead of MI. I am preparing to jump on MI bandwagon but I need a little more evidence that this was real, after the Carolina game I believe I will have know doubt if he is ready to carry the full load

It doesn't hurt that GB is the worse rushing D in the league...
