Good thing is, RB position is one of the lowest paid in the NFL (recent trend) .There are kickers with higher salary than some very good RBs. 5 year option was just too much. If Ingram keeps playing like this and stays healthy, he can expect solid offer from Loomis.

Ingram's performance last night was a thing of beauty. So proud of him and this team, especially the O-Line and those involved in pass protection. Now, if they can just please remember how to do this versus CAR. And, the D can show up again -- we will be golden Thursday night.

For all of his career when teams saw MI in the backfield u knew he was running straight up the middle. I loved watching him get screen passes and catching out of the backfield. Play calling is a lot less predictable. I think if he got 18 to 25 touches a game he would wear defense down for the fourth quarter and possibly be pro bowl material. PAY DAT MAN !!!

I liked what I saw from the entire team last night, they looked like contenders. I really liked how our DB's played the underneath coverage with 2 S over the top. Congrats to Ingram for running like a man possessed.

It took PT and KRob being injured to get him the touches, but hopefully Payton learned from it. Ingram needs touches. Please stop with the horrible one back per play rotation. Take him out when he raises his hand.
