Re: 2015 draft??
Eric Kendricks, ILB/OLB, UCLA
Height: 6-0. Weight: 230. Projected 40 Time: 4.69. Projected Round (2015): 1-2. 12/13/14: Kendricks has 139 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, two passes broken up, three interceptions and one force fumble this year. The senior is a sideline-to-sideline run-defender who covers a ton of ground. He also is an asset in pass coverage as he guards some receivers well in man coverage and does very well in zone. In the NFL, Kendricks should be a three-down starter. The senior was all over the field against Virginia to open 2014. The big plays he made led to 14 points from the Bruins' defense. Kendricks stripped a receiver of the ball deep in UCLA territory, and a teammate scooped up the fumble to return it for a touchdown. While the quarterback was flooded with defenders on the next drive, Kendricks had tight coverage on the running back and was able to undercut the throw to pick it off and run 37 yards to take it to the house. Kendricks totaled 16 tackles, two passes broken up, the forced fumble and the interception against Virginia. He also was impressive against Texas (11 tackles), Arizona State (10 tackles), Washington (13 tackles), USC (14 tackles, 1 INT) and Stanford (11 tackles). 8/23/14: Kendricks played well in 2013 with 105 tackles, four tackles for a loss and an interception. He was third in the Pac-12 in tackles. Kendricks is an instinctive defender who can defend sideline-to-sideline. Kendricks was a backup until a breakout 2012 season in which he led the Pac-12 in tackles. Kendricks had 149 tackles with six tackles for a loss, two sacks, four passes broken up, two forced fumbles and one blocked kick. His instincts were excellent as he did a great job of reading and reacting. Thanks to a disruptive defensive line and star outside linebacker Anthony Barr, Kendricks was able to make plays off of them. Kendricks is getting good preparation from a UCLA coaching staff under Jim Mora, Jr. that has a lot of pro experience. While Kendricks plays middle linebacker for the Bruins, he would have to move to outside linebacker in the NFL if he can't add weight |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: 2015 draft??
Eric Kendricks i love his game. size worries me but talk about football smart and solid reaction time. among the best i have seen in the past few years. but can he take the beating? I like him better than Perryman

I think will be fine once he fills out a bit.
his brother is one inch shorter but 10lb heavier, get the boy a few steaks and get 10lb on him.Mychal has played well since switching to a 3-4 ILB |

Re: 2015 draft??
My latest mock from Fanspeak
Round 1: Vic Beasley - OLB - Clemson Round 2: Denzel Perrymen - ILB - Miami Round 3: Jose Matias - G - Florida Round 4: Reese Dismukes - C - Auburn Round 5: Steven Nelson - CB - Oregon State Round 6: David Johnson - RB - Northern Iowa Round 7: Tyrus THompson - OT - Oklahoma Chose not to draft a WR. My reasoning is we have Jalen Saunders, who was a 4th round pick last year, plus Seantavius Jones and Brandon Coleman. All three have potential to contribute on offense for us. Plus there's Cooks and Stills coming back, and I believe we have Colston for one more season (love for him to take a pay cut tho!). With this draft, we get younger and faster at linebacker and on the offensive line, plus add needed toughness at the CB position (Nelson plays with a huge chip on his shoulder and backs down from no man) |

Re: 2015 draft??
Agree. I personally feel we'll let Lelito have the starting job next season (provided he earns it), but we'll need a backup center and Dismukes was there. In my draft, Cameron Irving and Hroniss Grasau were the two centers taken before him. Dismukes was there so had to snatch him up!

Re: 2015 draft??
interesting have to go back and re look at him. 13 pick of round 2? or you thinking trading back up into two or praying he falls to us in the third. in other words how sold are you on him/
major reach small reach too good to pass up in 3 |
