I would rather see the saints finishing the job they started up front on the OL which I have little faith in them completing. they never complete what they start. but thats just me. I think at 31 you have other options open to you that are safer picks on both sides of the ball. this may be the spot to look at CB OT OG DT because when pick 44 comes around the picking will probably get mighty thin and your talking third tier talent pool by then. grab the best from the second teir vs the bottom of the first tier is not a bad thing to do. pats live with this way of picking players. pick a player based on what he is not on what he might be. i am open to trading back into the top second and getting that 4th rounder back. plus something else of course in 2016 ;) But not picking from the over glorified positions make for a boring draft. But a boring draft may be just what this team needs heck sell me on the kid. i am open to it |

Brandon Scherff, La'El Collins, Danny Shelton, Trae Waynes,DeVante Parker If these players are gone start listing to trade option because at 13 i am not crazy about options after them. trade back get picks and increase your ability to move around in the draft in more rounds. |

After Harold, the next best fit at OLB is Zo Mauldin out of Louisville and you gotta reach and take him with the 2nd round pick... Know some people hate this, but we ****ed the pooch winning that Tampa Game... Lovie pretty much handed our arse to us for three quarters, and then they threw the game... Nothing wrong with pitching a battle to win the war... |

Like Shelton's game, but his playing style and longevity in the NFL don't seem conducive... Trade up for Beasley or trade back to the 18-24 range and take Virginia's Eli Harold, Florida St's Eddie Goldman, Oregon's Jake Fisher, Wake Forest's Kevin Johnson... |

What Jordan Phillips and Malcom Brown?

Malcom Brown juries still out for me. top ten talent? or mid 20s? consistency is my biggest issue with him. were as Shelton - he is consistent but has to be part of a rotation IMO. i am hoping cleveland takes him so we do not have to think about it. i am on the fence about the kid |

Re: 2015 draft??
Guess it's no secret who I'm crushing on for the draft; since the combine, it's been Beasley for those new to the planet...
Figure we've got to get to either WAS fifth pick or NYJ sixth pick to make it happen... It'll have to be announced at the time of the draft to minimize counter offers from CHI, ATL and to be sure that he's there when we move up... Reviewing the Trade Value Chart for reference... 2014 NFL Draft Trade Value Chart We'd have to trade both our 1's, BUT we would have to insist on a swap of Second round picks to increase the likelihood we get our MLB in round 2 (my preference is fellow Clemson alum, Stephone Anthony)... Can't help but question that we traded Graham to Seattle just because of a 28 year old Center or just to send a msg to our troops; can't help but think the TVC was factored in the decision... |
