...because we didn't have good NT play and/or our ILBs were taken out of the play due to bad instincts, getting caught up in the trash, or whatever it was that had Lofton/Hawthorne allowing RBs to gash us right where our ILBs should be.

Not because the LBs were too small. Maybe that'll be the reason if the bad rush defense continues this year, but it was not why we suck stopping the run recently.

I think we gotta stay with getting bigger on the defensive line and continue with bigger linebackers...

Reading reports from Miami's Pro Day earlier and there are two storylines: First, Sean Payton is in love with Phillip Dorsett. Second, Denzel Perryman injured his hamstring but no official word on severity yet... Some rumors it may be significant.

Phillip Dorset 5-foot-10 and 184 pounds ran a 4.25 40 dam but what happens when a nfl safety nails him to dead stop at that 4.25. i guess we are thinking of quick screening the nfl to death till he and cook get knocked out.

Cant say i like the idea of another midget WR

We are in a division of 6ft CBs and massive WRs and we are getting smaller

Tall CB's can't typically hang with the Brandin Cooks types.

Gimme four Steve Smiths and I stomp your tall ass CB's all day long. And I hate that M***** F***** as much as any WR in the league.

Most teams are trending toward big CB's who have more trouble flipping their hips. I'd counter that with shifty speed demons.

I think we would have a pretty nice balance:

Brandon Coleman 6'6"
Marques Colston 6'4"
Nick Toon 6'4"
Seantavious Jones 6'3"
Brandin Cooks 5'10"
Jalen Saunders 5'9"

Then you add the TE's and I don't think adding another 5'10" receiver like Dorsett would hurt.
