Damn it! So now what do I do with my Jimmy Graham jersey?
Still in shock over this one. Seahawks fans should be real happy about this I guess. Hope we have done the right thing and as I have said in other threads on this site I would assume the coaches and front office know what they are doing. Get the feeling that with a healthy JG the Hawks offence is going to be even more awesome next season. |

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks
Hasn't been injury prone till the last two years. He seems to break down towards the end of the season. The Hawks got lucky he was back at the right time. If he can stay healthy, you will love him. He is tough smart and a great leader (which has given me some pause). He and Sweezy were our best lineman but he has shown some signs of breaking down. Don't kid yourself, this was a big reason The Hawks were willing to let him go.

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks
Last year some TE came out and said Jimmy Graham couldn't play for us because he doesn't block. Wasn't it Seattle's TE? If it was that's hilarious.

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks
Agreed I think. Your organization must see real value towards the end of the 1st round; talent that would really upgrade your team but we have a surplus of. I was disappointed with the Saints last year. They were my team to challenge the Hawks. What happened?

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks
I would be lying if I still haven't totally processed this yet. We might have won or lost this but I love Unger a lot more than Graham when it comes to character...

The kid earned his money.
Look at Brandon Cooks from last year. He was on his way to becoming a #1 receiver for the Saints when he got injured. You've also missed the point that Unger is a Pro Bowl caliber veteran when healthy. He will contribute immediately in every facet of the offense. Over the last 9 years the Saints offense is as predictable as a precision watch when it comes to Brees' pass attempts per game. Under 30, the team wins. Over 35, the team almost always loses. Clearly Payton has seen the light being steamrolled by the Cowboys last year. Run the ball, play action over the top. Protects your defense. Protects your QB. The Saints are not going to have a problem running the ball as long as all the pieces remain relatively healthy. SFIAH |

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

Who do we sign to replace him?
I bet Julius Thomas is kicking himself Charles Clay only on a transition tender Jordan Cameron,(got to line up Jordan Cameron-Cameron Jordan at least once) |

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks
This explains a lot from the Hawks perspective..
The #Saints would eat $9M in dead cap by trading TE Jimmy Graham. Receiving team would be getting him at 3 years $27M ($7.9M g’teed) |
