Tyeler Davison | DT, Fresno State
Height: 6-2 Weight: 316
Big, incredibly strong athlete at defensive tackle. Has the length you look for at this position. Could be a steal in this draft.

I may have been a bit too harsh on the Hau'oli Kikaha pick, but I like this one more. Davis Tull has been linked to the Saints, as he's a good fit for Rob Ryan's scheme. He's highly athletic and has a good chance of eventually emerging as a starter.

A defensive draft can never go wrong with that. With a good OL and graham gone we can plug in the towel boy if brees goes back to his roots in spreading the ball around.

I like the fact that we are going after proven pass rushers that have shown great success, I just can't see us getting success from Brandon Coleman or Sentavius Jones.

Plus Colston looks to be on the way out soon, Joe Morgan has proved to be unreliable so we literally have Brandin Cooks to rely on.

I had Tyeler Davison going a round earlier than this in most of my mock updates, so I like this selection. The Saints hadn't addressed their defensive line yet, so Davison definitely makes sense at this juncture.

Get a great player in the fifth, and we took two, or...

take the same level of WR you already have and hope somehow they grow to 6' 2" and shave a half second off their 40 time between now and training camp?!?

And look, they're still some good tall WR Colston-types still there...
