Stills maybe Jimmy i doubt it

I look at the depth chart at WR and i am worried more than anytime since Drew became a saint.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread

we lost a big sure handed target in jimmy, we lost stills with his best football ahead of him. now we have a declining colston and a small cooks. we need at least one big target. that's why i wanted waller so bad.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread

Michael Floyd in AZ is on trade block, young player could help us out quite a bit

I really hope we aren't relying on Toon, Coleman, Jones or even Colston to be big players, because it's a long shot and would be the dumbest thing we've done since we excpected Champ Bailey to win the starting DB role and not sign any corners.

Everyone relax, WR is going to be ok. We knew we were going to a run first team this year. Why waste a rd 1-3 WR if that is the case? I see a lot of UDFA coming in and I love the thought of Tanner finally making the team.

If Tanner was good enough he would have made the team long ago

That's been the thought process this whole offseason; beefing the O-Line up and signing Spiller/Ingram both to 4 year deals

run the ball + play action clock control and good defense

He stayed healthy until the Bills tried to use him as a between the tackles, every down back. He's not built like that, we'll use him like we did Sproles

Ifo had surgery before his bowl game last year, read it somewhere...

Collins said he will not sign the contract and if he is drafted he doesn't have to sign and reenter the draft next year... Be safer to get him as a udfa where if he goes undrafted he can not reenter the draft next year

I don't get the hate from everyone; Colston, Cooks, Toon, Coleman, Hill, Watson, Jones, Morgan, Tanner, Saunders, Sneed.

Geez, they made it to the NFL for a reason, someone will catch the ball

I only trust Cooks. Toon took three years to show anythinga dn was still inconsistent. Colston is 32. Hill is a TE. Watson is a TE. As for Jones, Tanner, Saunders, Sneed they need to show more than what they showed last year.

And Morgan.....I just don't. We could be going a more simple approach where we run the ball and target Cooks as much as possible when passing. Also, those ps guys they need to make the roster, they haven't so far.

OVERVIEW
2014: First-team All-SEC (all-purpose). Played in all 14 games with 11 starts. 2013: Second-team All-SEC (all-purpose). Led team in all-purpose, KR and PR yards. 2012: First-team All-SEC return specialist. 2012: First-team All-SEC return specialist. 2011: Redshirted with a torn right shoulder labrum suffered during July 7-on-7 drills. 2010: Played in all 12 games as the primary KR and a reserve RB.

PRO DAY RESULTS
40-yard dash: 4.53 and 4.57 seconds
Vertical jump: 30 1/2 inches
Broad jump: 9 feet, 7 inches
20-yard short shuttle: 4.39 seconds
Three-cone drill: 7.16 seconds

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS Has the foot quickness and acceleration to make something out of nothing when called upon as a runner. Needs to play in space, but has quality traits for a runner, despite size. Has enough speed to turn the corner and hit a big run down the sideline. In passing game, mismatches inside 'backers with razor-sharp cuts to the sideline, creating easy throws for the quarterback. Looks to adjust his routes over the top of coverage if quarterback scrambles. Has excellent hands and concentration to finish a catch despite impending contact. Celebrated kick- and punt-return specialist with seven career return touchdowns at Missouri.

WEAKNESSES Needs to improve his reads and feel on stretch plays flowing outside. Small running back with limited amount of carries he can offer in a given game. Tends to float in space as a receiver rather than working back to the ball. Doesn't make the sharp, downhill cuts expected from him as a running back. Missed 2011 with a shoulder injury. He tries to get in the way as a pass blocker, but lacks bulk and strength to be trusted with blitz pickup on next level.

DRAFT PROJECTION Round 7 or priority free agent

NFL COMPARISON Dexter McCluster

BOTTOM LINE All-purpose running back with a lean frame and a big heart. Showed consistency of effort and production during his time at Missouri. His value as a runner is limited due to his size, but he has the potential to become a legitimate target out of the backfield and might warrant some reps in camp as a slot receiver. Murphy can step in and immediately challenge for the top spot as a kickoff and/or punt returner.
