What? Is this English? If you mean he is fragile then realize he will be sitting 2+ years. Plenty of time to heal.

We used the 13th overall pick on a backup tackle. Sounds about right.

I said the same about Peat but everyone loved that pick for some reason.

I still doubt he makes the team, friend. I suppose I hope that I'm wrong. I'm honestly so sickened by the pick that I don't even want him to succeed right now. I'm sure I will calm down with time and my opinion will change, but right now I wish I had a punching bag with his face on it.

That's great, but the Saints need a DT, OG, WR and CB NOW!

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread

OVERVIEW
In 2014, selected second-team All-ACC with 11 passes defensed, but also allowed five touchdown passes. Selected honorable mention All-ACC in 2013 and was the Defensive MVP of the BCS National Championship Game against Auburn. Key contributor during 27-1 run for Seminoles over last two seasons. Played in all 14 games as a freshman in 2012. Was Vanguard High School's (Ocala, Fla.) first ever Under Armour All-American. Recently starred in viral video where he cleared a box jump that was estimated to be nearly 60 inches high. Arrested for DUI on April 3 in Tallahassee, Fla. Pleaded not guilty to charge and case was dismissed April 27.

PRO DAY RESULTS
40-yard dash: 4.45 seconds
Vertical jump: 41 inches
Broad jump: 11 feet, 3 inches

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS
Possesses desired height, weight and speed. Able to face up and handle business from press coverage all game long. Bump-and-run specialist. Length and strength to put a receiver into detour mode off the jam. Waits to open hips up until receiver has committed to his release. Able to turn, run and close. Has feel to stay wired on inside or outside releases. Able to get on top of vertical routes and smother. Can carry speed down the field. Outstanding timing and ball skills to knock throw away. Instinctive and aware, extending outside of his area to make plays. Sure tackler in open field with second gear to explode into ball carriers.

WEAKNESSES
Physical down the field and could take time to acclimate to NFL illegal-contact rules. Stays on high-side down the field, opening himself to easy comebacks. Appears to lose some interest when asked to cover in zone. Won't be able to consistently jam savvy NFL receivers off the line. Motor runs hot and cold. Shows up ready when stakes are high, but puts it in cruise control and play looks less motivated against lesser opponents. Inconsistent to step downhill and attack the run.

DRAFT PROJECTION Round 2

SOURCES TELL US "I think his best position will end up being safety. He's strong enough as a tackler to make the move and his cover skills are what most teams are looking for from safeties now. He would be the second safety off the board if you project him there." - NFC general manager "Can't run. The more I watch him, the more limited I realize he's going to be." - NFC defensive backs coach

NFL COMPARISON Stephon Gilmore

BOTTOM LINE Cover cornerback with the talent to play on an island, and the swagger to regroup and forget when beaten. Williams can cover outside or from the slot, and has potential to come in and start right away for an aggressive man-cover defense. Williams had some issues recovering when beaten deep and may end up making a move to safety on the next level. He has the talent to be a capable NFL starter at either position.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft Day Discussion Thread

Could be some decent trade bait a year or two. Especially if Mr Crabs and Mariota end up being busts. Sitting under brees a year or 2 his value only goes up. This at the very least but I think he really could end up being the guy Payton knows a good QB.

New Orleans Saints: P.J. Williams, CB/S, Florida State: A Grade
P.J. Williams was once viewed as a first-round prospect, but was arrested for a DUI. He was cleared of those charges, so I thought his draft stock could bounce back, but apparently not. The Saints aren't complaining. Williams is a talented cornerback who could emerge as a starter down the road. The Saints added Brandon Browner at corner this offseason, but they still needed to address this position.

The only pick i have a issue with is Grayson

The front offic have said they want to move away from Brees in the next 3-4 years. i just think taking Dawson,Davis or Harold would have been better for the team over the next two years

Really could do with finding a way to grab a 4th rounder for Bush or another

QB wasted pick not because of talent but yet another IR roll of the dice

one great value and fills a need. PJ works for me in the 3rd. but we need more

I don't need a dictionary to know you must put the words in the right order to make sense. Go back and look at your post.

Everybody acting like the Grayson pick was a wasted pick lol. How about the backup tackle at 13 or the barely draftable edge rusher in the second round? Sorry folks, but Loomis is horrible when it comes to the draft.

I'm not happy about the Peat pick, but its not a big deal because we got rid of Grubbs and Lelito will be on the field and we will use him if Unger gets hurt at C. Lelito is replacing Grubbs and Unger is replacing Goodwin.

Immediate nickle(#3) corner!

His highlight reel is freaking awesome! Reminds me of Corey White(tackling), but a lot better coverage

Just for the record, I'm not hating every pick. I love the Stephone Anthony pick... We reached a bit for him but he's a special talent. I love P.J. Williams in the 3rd round as well. Peat and Kikaha were terrible picks. The Grayson pick I get... We're gonna move on from Drew in 2-3 years so I'm ok with grooming his replacement.

Sjb might move to safety now. Lord knows we can never have enough safeties.

Some reports have Williams maybe ending up a safety

Love the pick, wanted Golson but not a bad alternative at all

Peat will see meaningful snaps years before Grayson will. I also wouldn't rule Peat out as a starter at some point past mid season. If Grayson sees the field as a starter in the next two years the Saints will be in the running for the number one overall pick in the next draft.

How would you know? I'd at least see what he does on the field before making asinine comments...
